For Cub Scout packs

More families join. More stay. In a fraction of the time.

MemberCairn is your Cub Scout pack's front door and inbox. It gives families a real place to find you, answers them in your voice, collects event fees and dues the moment a family says yes, and flags the ones drifting away. More families join, more stay, nobody chases money, and you get your evenings back.

Start free Free forever. No card to start.

Every reply and welcome written by AI, in your voice, and escalated to a real person only when it needs to be.

3 to 4 hours back, every single week.

The hours your leaders pour into replies, welcomes, dues chasing, and reminders, handed back. The AI does the writing, in your voice. You keep the final okay.

Typical for a 30 to 80 family pack.
Built by a volunteer leader
"I built MemberCairn to share and automate the best practices that doubled the size of our pack in a year and made it the fastest-growing unit in our council. It hands me and other leaders our time back, so we can put it where it belongs: the program and the kids."

Drew, founder

Running the pack on Scoutbook, a spreadsheet, and a shared Gmail?

That free stack mostly works, until a new family shows up or a quiet one slips away. Keep Scoutbook. Replace the improvised pile. Still free.

The trouble with leads

Families come at you from everywhere.

One volunteer takes names at the school night, another at the table out front, and they scatter across a spreadsheet nobody updates and someone's Gmail. Half the time you cannot even tell if everyone got a reply, and the ones who heard nothing just move on. Meanwhile you are answering the same questions, chasing dues and forms, and trying to keep a website alive. It all lands on one volunteer.

Did the Alvarez family ever get the Join Night invite? Did they come? Did anyone write them back?

A lead goes cold in days, and the families who raised their hand and heard nothing simply move on. None of it is anyone's fault. There is just more of it than one volunteer can hold, and it got to be too much.

Where a family comes from

  • The BeAScout map
  • School Join Scouting Night
  • A flyer in a backpack
  • A yard sign
  • A friend who already belongs

Five front doors, no single place they land. The ones that fall through are families who already said yes.

The whole trail, marked

We set the stones that mark the way.

Get found, get answered, get set up, stay in touch, reach everyone, keep them. MemberCairn marks every step a family takes with your pack, and writes the words in your voice at each one.

Front Door Site · Get found.

A front door families can actually find.

MemberCairn writes a clean recruiting page (a home page, an interest form, and a getting-started page) from a few questions about your pack. Photos, meeting times, and a join button, all there. No WordPress, no site builder, no hosting bill.

Always-On Assistant · Get answered.

Answered in minutes, day or night.

The moment an interested family reaches out, MemberCairn answers in your voice, around the clock. It carries the back-and-forth that wins a family: when and where you meet, what dues and fees cost, what to bring, how to join. And the same assistant answers your current families too, not just new leads. You see every conversation and step in whenever you want.

Pack Inbox · Stay in touch.

One inbox. Nothing dropped.

Every message, from a brand-new family or a current one, lands in one place. The AI answers the routine questions in your voice and drafts the rest for you to approve, and you assign who owns a reply and mark it done. No shared Gmail everyone fights to log into, no message read but never answered.

Money · free on every plan

Nobody chases money after the campout.

A typical pack moves about $20,000 a year: dues, campout fees, derby kits, the Blue and Gold. Almost all of it gets collected the hard way, with a spreadsheet column and a volunteer sending "friendly reminder" emails from their own account. Treasurers who get pay-at-RSVP call it the feature that changed the job.

  • Pay at the moment they say yes

The campout fee rides on the RSVP reply itself. A family taps yes and pays right there, by card or straight from their bank account.

  • Dues without the spreadsheet column

One collection covers the whole pack, sized per Scout with a sibling discount if you want one. Who has paid and who still owes is one glance, not a reconciliation night.

  • Your money, your account

Payments land in your pack’s own bank account. MemberCairn never holds your funds, and payouts and refunds live in your own Stripe dashboard.

On the Guide plan, your AI assistant follows up with the families who said yes but have not paid, so nobody has to be the bad guy.

Collecting is free on every plan, including Free. The family paying online covers one small service fee at checkout (a bank payment keeps it lowest), or flip a switch and the pack absorbs it.
